As DSAP serves the Greater Pittsburgh region as well as most of Western PA, we invite you to join our volunteer database. There are several ways to serve from event volunteers, to parent partners, to even consider a seat on our Board of Directors.

PALS Pittsburgh - July 16-22 at the University of Pittsburgh
PALS creates inclusive camp experiences for people with and without Down syndrome. Their volunteer-led programs change attitudes, transform lives, and inspire a world of belonging. PALS volunteers support the mission of building a world of belonging by leading week-long programs, building communities in regional locations, and welcoming new participants to PALS! The most common role at PALS is a 1-1 match where a peer without Down syndrome is paired with an individual with Down syndrome. For more information and PALS Peers FAQs click here.
To be a Peer Participant, you are required to be high school age (approximately 15) and older. Applications are open!
For those interested in volunteer leadership, volunteer leaders are required to be 18 and older. Applications are open!
