DSAP Annual Calendar
One of our favorite community awareness projects here at the DSAP is creating our annual Western PA Down Syndrome calendar. Local professional photographers volunteer their time to capture the spirit of our Down syndrome community each year. Click here for more information.
This Life We GotShannon Striner from www.ThisLifeWeGot.com and mother of Sienna shares her family’s story of acceptance after their daughter was born. Her doctor delivered her daughter’s diagnosis in a very negative light. She made this video to show students studying to become genetic counselors how much beauty exists in this life.
