2010 Down Syndrome Awareness Day at PNC ParkPirates vs MetsThe Down Syndrome Association will host a special day at the ballpark to honor and acknowledge family and friends with Down syndrome. This special event will be part of a large fundraising and awareness effort which will support the mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh. Football Camp for the Stars!A camp for athletes with Down syndrome who love football.
The Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh is proud to support the 1st Annual Football Camp for the Stars, a program for athletes with Down syndrome who love football! Sponsored by Thomas Jefferson and Woodland Hills High Schools, this is a Football Camp for young men with Down syndrome, ages 15to 30. The
Camp will be held on Thursday, June 24 (5:00 – 9:00pm) and Friday, June 25,
(5:00 – 9:00pm) at Thomas Jefferson High School Stadium in Pleasant Hills. The cost is $50. Call 412-692-7963 to register and for more details. Financial aid is available, and volunteers are needed! 4th Annual Down Syndrome Association Golf OutingOfficial Program Available!
Friends and families gathered Friday, June 18, 2010 at Green Oaks Country Club to raise funds and awareness for children and adults with Down syndrome. Through a great golf outing and the dinner and auctions that evening, money was raised for the DSAP to support our many priorities. Thanks again to all who participated!
